Vaporization Demonstration -15 degrees
Переглядів 1289 років тому
In this video I demonstrate the principal of Vaporization. II was very cold (-15 degrees F) and I had a cup of boiling water I threw up into the air and it immediately changed to a gas.
Now everybody understands what the "square body mafia" is all about. What few don't know is that Chevrolet has updated the CUCV with the LSSV on the GMT-900 platform, and GM Defense has prototyped the Army ISV on the Colorado platform.
♥Exactly what i need in my life!
God that's why I love Chevy
House
M1008 not an M1028. M1028 was the military version of the Chevy K30/K3500 1-ton dually. This one is not a dually, so that makes it into an M1008, not an M1028. Still a nice truck though.
great buy for less than 11000$, wow.TH
ua-cam.com/video/9G3X2DPkLnA/v-deo.html
That’s a great truck. Thanks for restoring it and making this video.
Hey bro I’m boutta buy the same car with 127000 km how is the reliability
I have since sold this vehicle. During my 3 years with the vehicle it was fairly reliable. I replaced my spark plugs, wiper blades, tires, ignition coils packs, rear tail lamp housing for bulb corrosion, spark plugs, oil changes, air filters, brake pads, thermostat and antifreeze. There may have been a couple of minor sensors I replaced as well. The timing chain should be investigated to make sure it doesn't need replacement due to know issues with the timing chain and guides. There are a lot of repair videos available if you are a DIY type. The dealer can be costly for these same repairs. Be sure to purchase a code reader and read the codes when issues occur to save repair costs. Good luck!
@@RichardClayborn thanks so much
Did u leave the 24 volt starter?
Yes
SWEEEEEEET
Thanks Richard will be changing the air filter on my commander
I have a 6.2L M998 myself,it's a great vehicle and even daily driver,and I have a 6.2L M1009 to go along with it.I would like to get a 6.5L M1123 some time in the future.
Are you selling this truck if so how much are you asking for it.
it’s been sold for a few years now. I do have one humvee left for 9k at the moment.
@@RichardClayborn That's ok. I need a 4 wheel drive pickup.
Is this a M1028? Or a M1028A1? The M1028 had a NP-205 Transfer Case just like the M1028A2 & M1031 did,the M1028A1 had a NP-208 Transfer Case just like the other CUCV's.
I am not certain if it was an A1 or not.
@@RichardClayborn The Transfer Case determines what Variation it was (Basic or A1).The M1028 had a NP-205 and the M1028A1 had a NP-208.
By the shifter that would be an NP208. NP205’s have a vertical shifter.
I love the Humvees just as much as the CUCV's.The N/A 6.2L in both Trucks makes them useful as a daily driver.I hate how these get alot of dislikes from retards who can't fix them for shit, and somehow the M1008-M1031 gets more appreciation than the M998 even though both of them have the same Engine,I just don't get it.I love them both.
Those look like 37×12.50's from a HMMWV.I use to have a 1985 M1028A1 CUCV with a 4 Inch Procomp Lift and 37×12.50's with Lockers on the Front Axle.My M1028A1 had only 54,000 Miles on it's 6.2L.I wanted to get a Banks Turbocharger for it,but it never happened, however I did do it with my M1009 CUCV.
E original os banco ou mando fazer ?
Although a rare color combination, the paint and interior are all factory original options from BMW.
Where did you get the front bumper?
Red on red combination is deadly bro!!!!
155 hp turd
Daniel Dough 6.2 does not have shit for torque. My 454 makes 475 hp 550 foot pounds and its not a wild engine and i have dyno tested a RV 454 330 hp 485 foot pounds and your turd 6.2 don’t make 200 hp and not even 300 foot pounds TURD engine
A N/A 6.2L Detroit is 130 HP/250 lbs of Torque, and a 6.2L Detroit equipped with a Banks Turbocharger is 190 HP/365 lbs of Torque.I had a Chevrolet Xtasca with the 7.4L at 330 HP/485 lbs of Torque, good enough as is,was just a absolute fuel guzzler compared to any of my 6.2L's.
Wanous 1966 This was a pioneer of diesel truck engines. It was built before the technology was there for it. You wouldn’t hate on a grandpa for not being as strong as his grandson.
If you want a 454 in a pickup, fine. Just don't ruin a good CUCV doing it.
@@doubledeuce5084 i got a 454 in my cucv. The 6.2 is a disgusting pile of shit
amaizing car/ thats a booltoad of war
How much did you get it for?
It seems like every diesel cold start video has 3 dislikes probably Greta and her 2 butt buddies
very nicely explained clear and short . thx for that
I just bpught my 1st M1028 and was wondering how good it will do in the winter? I currently dive a Crown Victoria and they are a little complicated in the winter.
Does it have a/c or heat system?
Black rims please
This is going to help me so much in doing the make-your-own-experiment assignment. Thanks!
What's the difference between the M1008 & M1028?
M1008 & M1028/M1028A1 have different Leafs,but the same 4.56 Gear Ratio,and even Transfer Cases.The M1008 and M1028A1 have a NP-208 Transfer Case,the M1028 has a NP-205 Transfer Case.There is also a M1028A2 & M1028A3 Dually which also have different Transfer Cases,the M1028A2 has a NP-205 and M1028A3 has NP-208.
All M1028 trucks were the same gearing as the M1008. M1028's were a shelter carrier, they had heavier leafs in the rear. The 28 also had a limited slip in the front where the 08 didn't. The M1028a2 trucks were converted from M1031 trucks which had the NP-205. The a3 trucks had the NP-208 because they were converted from the M1028.
Definitely wet snow
NICE
Video smoothing lets him wobble like...a slime? But a really nice car anyways ;-)
price
I have it listed for $15,000 locally
Or you can just reach underneath the battery on the underneath the hood and change and that way it’s a heckuva lot easier
been repainted.......
Did you have to cut the front fenders to fit those tires? Are they the Super Lug tires 9:00 x16”?
Arthur Alzamora I did trim the front fender behind the tire. If you look closely at the fender you can see where it’s trimmed. The tires were oe tires from a Humvee
She has good intentions but a lot of mistakes in her explanations. I would recommend this video however, for AP high school Physics and College Level Physics. Have them find and correct all the mistakes made in this video.
Oh it still has the junk 6.2 pile of poo in it. I took mine out and put a 475 hp 454 in it
yur an asshole.
It's no longer a CUCV if you did that.
Greg Mansholt sure it is. It has a way better engine in it now and you can use the truck for pulling
@@Wanous-hv7zo The 6.2 is the heart of what makes it a CUCV. Might as well paint it red and put a nice shine on it too. Don't forget the stereo!
Hey hello do you remember how you made the ramp?
where can i get the lens for the turn signals???
what is this frame post concept
Thx u got me an a in science class
I want this truck so bad
Thanks for watching. It was a fun project for sure.
What did you cost the cab floor with
I used a pickup bed bedliner material. One coat was with a roller. Second coat was with a spray can. Turned out great.
Richard Clayborn marvelous
Nice simple tuition-:)
Getting airsick watching it,
It's been a year how are they holdin up
I sold this vehicle a few months back so I can't say for sure how well it is holding up. However, I would assume the product could fade after several years, but would not crack, or peel. It applied easily and I would still recommend it.
What size sidewall were the tires
I would have opted for the original color but otherwise top notch.
AT Lurker thanks for the compliment.
